Kate Pauline Rennie

I'm a graphic artist and writer, based in Ōtautahi, whose primary expertise is in illustration, sequential art, and print design.

About me

All these different disciplines have one thing in common, creating visual narratives that are curated to my clients' visions and target audiences. Whether it's for the ages of eight or eighty, I will create something attractive to them, whilst in a language that they can understand and relate to.

I have energy and enthusiasm, initiative, enterprise, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. All these abilities I use to self-promote my creative practice and the creative practises of others. Understanding the importance of maintaining communication, self-promotion and self-initiating projects has led to commissions, exhibitions and most importantly friendships.

I am sure of my capabilities in problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking. I have written many essays questioning the morals and ethics of the arts industry and have designed creative solutions that fit around busy lifestyles. Through these means, I have learnt that taking things at face value could jeopardize someone’s livelihood, the planet, or enforce negative stereotypes. Designing creative solutions and awareness is a strong prerogative of mine when working with clients.
